Hey, how is everyone doing this week? I'm glad we're all getting settled back in with everything going on. Last week was a bit rough still, but hopefully e everything is back to somewhat normal with classes and TRAIN! I know everyone is probably working ion their final essay right now; it sucks that we can work on our projects as much anymore, but at least we still have something to do. I spoke with Matt last week talking about my project and what to do. He advised me to fill a doc with a lot of information and topics about 2 different tests ill be conducting. So that's what ill be working on, for now, I hope you all find yourself safe and keep up with everything!

    I’m still trying to figure out how not to lose my sanity while this semester is coming to a close. This is why I chose not online classes because I don’t like trying to learn without someone in front of me showing how something is done. It’s the hardest thing for me to try and do.

Hello, my name is Irvin Hernandez. This blog will be the first of many that I post. I've never posted a blog, so I'm not entirely sure what to write or what to expect, I've also never been one to post much on social media, so all around this is new for me. I haven't yet started my internship, but I'm excited to find out how it's going to be. I've previously had another internship with the credit union I'm now working in. I was doing almost the same stuff that I do now, but I was more limited on what I could or couldn't do. It was an unpaid internship, but I was still fortunate enough to receive much experience and skills from that internship. I hope that with this internship, I can gain a great deal of knowledge and come out more experienced than ever. Week 6: Learning more about biology and bacteria

Hey, everyone, I hope you guys had a great week! I was able to talk to a lot of people this week and learn more about different projects. I've been trying to collect more bat data, but unfortunately, this week was a tough week for me to go out since I had some issues I had to take care of, but luckily, everything has gone smoothly, and I'll most likely head out next week to collect more information. This week though, I was able to give some face samples to Burabari, its funny because we had just met, and 5 minutes later, she was taking face samples from me. It's really cool though and I loved helping out! I also learned about the types of plates the bacteria is spread onto and I even helped pour some. I hope everyone had a great week!
